Discovering Your Scent
When I was younger, I used to love going into my mom’s closet where she had a beautiful display of endless fragrances — Chanel fragrances to be exact. I always dreamed of growing up and having that same set up with fragrances that matched me. What I learned is that picking a fragrance is super personal. Everyone has such different taste that is hard to pick a scent for someone. Also, if you’re like me and get migraines, it is especially hard to pick a scent. What you may like, might not like your head, so it is very limited.
While I can’t wear a million different scents like everyone else and I have to keep it simple, I do get to have a few that work well with me and I thought I would share what I look for.
What I Look For In A Scent
When looking for a scent, I have to look for certain notes in the fragrance so that I don’t set off a migraine for myself. There is nothing worse then when you know why you got a headache and that you are the cause of it.

Fragrance Brands That Work Well For Me
There are so many brands that I haven’t tried yet to be able to speak for all brands, but out of the brands I have tried Le Labo Fragrances, Gucci, Victor and Rolf and Jo Malone work the best with my head. These are all pricier fragrances but I swear they smell so good and work amazing with headache prone people like me.
What is your go to scent? I would love to try something new! As always, be sure to let me know in the comments below.
