Reading books was always something I wanted to love but was super selective with. I like a little bit of every genre of book, but am specific about which ones from each genre so it can be hard to find the right one. I love how reading can make you feel and, when a book is good, you can get lost in it. I’ve recently read two books that really stood out to me.
Book #1: Once We Were Brothers
Once We Were Brothers is one of my favorite books, ever. It is about two boys, who once were as close as brothers, who find themselves on opposite sides of the Holocaust. Trust me when I say it’s incredible. I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t loved this book that I’ve recommended it too.
Book #2: I Can’t Make This Up by Kevin Hart
After seeing Kevin Hart randomly at the Comedy Store a few months ago, I became obsessed with him. He was so funny and personable. He was promoting his book that was coming out soon and I immediately went home and preordered it. To my surprise, the book was great! He is hilarious and a great story teller and tells his story in a touching way.
I’m always looking for new books to read and, as you can see, I like a wide variety of books. What are some of your favorite books? I’d love your suggestions!
