The Best iPhone Apps
Do you remember before there were smartphones? When there weren’t apps everything wasn’t at your fingertips? I do, but it’s hard to remember. Some might call it sad, but I rely so much on my phone to assist me throughout my days, or just to provide entertainment, that I thought it’d only be fitting for me to share that apps that I use every single day.
App #1: Instagram
If you went somewhere and didn’t put it on Instagram, did it even really happen?! I’m fully joking…but really, how entertaining is Instagram? It’s a way to see beautiful images, watch entertaining IG stories (if you’re following the right people), and to share your own story too. It’s such a simple app that seems to have the whole world hooked.
App #2: VSCO + all editing apps
VSCO is such a great photo editing app and community. You can apply beautiful filters to your photo’s and you have the option to share you photo’s with the VSCO community or save it to your camera roll.
App #3: Health
I’m obsessed with the Health app on the iPhone. I love being able to track my steps and see how active I have or haven’t been, plus it’s a good reminder to get off the couch and go for a walk when I haven’t gone far enough. Matt and I get super competitive with each other now to try to walk more than the other person which makes it fun and motivating to go further.
App #4: Uber
Uber is probably the best thing to happen to everyone (especially in LA). Los Angeles has had such bad public transportation options for ever and Uber has been such an important and amazing change for Los Angeles and literally every other city. I don’t even remember how my friends and I got around before it. I take Uber to the airport, out for the night with friends, and sometimes just when I’m lazy to drive or want to be able to get work done instead of driving.
App #5: Postmates
Moment of honesty: I was Postmating so much at the beginning of last year that I had to make it a 2017 New Years resolution to not be lazy and use Postmates so much, but it is just so easy. Anything I want is at my fingertips and delivered to my door and it was the meaning of #goals.
