Thanksgiving Decor I’m Loving Now
Most of you already know how much fun I’ve been having decorating my home. Ever since Matt and I moved into our new place (and especially after we got married), I’ve been in serious nesting mode.
This year, I’ve started planning ahead of time on how I’m going to give our space a festive touch.
Read on for the Thanksgiving décor I’m loving now.
White Ceramic Pumpkins
My house is filled with subtle neutrals and pops of prints here and there. That said, when it came to Thanksgiving décor, I wanted pieces that fit our aesthetic. I love the chic white speckled pattern on these stylish ceramic pumpkins. I love them styled in threes throughout my kitchen and on my dining table.
I’m looking forward to hosting a small gathering for friends this year (we typically go to my parents’ house on actual Thanksgiving), and can’t wait to use these elegant scripted table napkins for the tablescape. I’m planning to pair these with all white classic ceramic plates.
While orange shades are a Thanksgiving staple, I’m more of a fan of muted bouquets. I’ve been picking up beautiful green and neutral florals at my local farmer’s market and arranging them in simple glass vases around our home – it adds a homey, timeless vibe to our space.
This is hands down the best pumpkin candle in the game. It smells luxurious, decadent, and just like freshly baked pumpkin pie. Anthropologie releases them around the holidays every year, and I hightail it to the store to buy ten at a time. I’ve been burning these in my home for weeks already. They smell so delicious.
Pumpkin Dish Towel
A festive dishtowel is an essential come the holiday season. I love this simple and chic style because it isn’t over the top and cheesy like so many Thanksgiving-inspired towels I’ve seen. The gold shades look amazing in our kitchen, and the quality is incredible too.
A Festive Doormat
I recently saw this playful doormat and it makes me smile and am seriously considering ordering it. It’s a hand painted style from POPPYjack Shop – one of my go-to calligraphers for parties and beyond. I would add some white pumpkins around it and am loving how festive my front door looks.
Bundling up on the couch with a movie during the holidays is a favorite pastime of mine. Target’s Threshold collection has the chunkiest, coziest blankets that I’ve layered around my space for the holidays. This one literally makes you feel like you’re wrapped in the coziest sweater ever. The best part? It comes in a ton of colors to suit any décor style. If you love fur (faux of course) accents as much as I do, you’ll love this contemporary oversized bed throw too (warning: it’s so soft, you’ll want to keep it on your bed year-round).
A Subtle Wreath
As I said earlier, I’m not about holiday décor that pulls away from the overall aesthetic of a home. That’s why I love this wreath so much. It’s made from fluffy dried cotton, making it an unusual conversational piece. It looks so natural against our front door.
Happy holidays, everyone!
