People come to Los Angeles for so many things, but one obvious one to me is the environment. People want a dreamy view, preferably of the beach, and they want to be able to have a place that is walking distance from food, drinks and ideally shops too. Since I am from Los Angeles, and also still live here, I get asked lots of travel questions. I get asked where to go, what to wear, and everything in between. I did a post on my top Los Angeles date night places, along with a day in Los Angeles guide, and now I’m going to share my top 5 dreamy rooftops in Los Angeles.
3 Dreamy Rooftops in Los Angeles
There are so many amazing places to go out in Los Angeles. From Downtown to Santa Monica and everything in between there are endless options. Los Angeles might not be the easiest to get around, thanks to traffic, but one thing we do have is options. When I go out, one of the most important things to me is the environment. I especially love a good view so I’ve done my research with rooftops and wanted to share them with you.
This is a rooftop that is less popular or known but is so nice! It is located in an awesome outdoor mall right off of the Santa Monica Promenade. Surrounding this rooftop are restaurants, a really nice movie theater and great shopping like Nordstrom, All Saints and Tiffany’s.
2. E.P. & L.P.
E.P. & L.P. is one of those places that is so fun to go to during the summer. It’s located in West Hollywood, has a restaurant underneath in case you want to eat before or after, and it has a view of the city. I love going there with friends in the summer and it’s great for people watching!
Catch restaurant, which originally started in New York, is one of the most beautiful restaurants and bars. It is on the roof and although it doesn’t have a crazy view it is so pretty up there that there restaurant is it’s own perfect view…plus the food is so good.
