Enter my closet and you will immediately notice something. That something is handbags and shoes. Some might say it is an obsession or think it’s a bit much, but I call it a passion and being a collector. I love handbags and shoes more than most things. They make me feel excited and I treat them incredibly well so I get to have them forever which is another plus and justified reason why my investment is a smart one. If you go through my shelves, you’ll find I have a love for designer bags and shoes specifically. I love Chanel more than anything in this world, Saint Laurent, Prada… if it’s on Rodeo Drive, I love it. It’s an expensive hobby but it is mine. I justify it with how they’ll last me forever and will be given to my daughter one day. You know you’re buying into my passion now :).
While I love the major name brand designers and do believe that if you’re buying the right items from these designers that they will last you forever, I love finding designers that are less known too. It has always been a passion of mine to search and discover brands that no one else knows about or people aren’t really wearing. There is something rewarding and cool about finding an unknown designer. I don’t know why but it feels so good.
When I discover a new or unknown designer — I love nothing more than showing them off and letting others know about them too. The best part about this designer spotlight is that Brahmin isn’t a new brand but is new to me.
Brahmin has been around since 1982 and prides themselves on creating expertly crafted handbags that combine quality, artistry and style. While they have accessories and jewelry as well, they are most popular for their timeless handbags. I was recently introduced to them and loved the texture, versatility and quality in their bags. You can tell the designers care about their work and think about every detail. From function to fashion, Brahmin handbags does it all.
How To Style Your Bag
The best part about this bag is the versatility. This handbag can be styled so many different ways, which any of my regular readers knows that is something I look for when purchasing an item. I styled my bag for a daytime look on this day but I will also be packing this same bag in my suitcase next week for when I am in Turks and Caicos (make sure you follow me on Instagram to see my adventures).
