Four Bloggers Who Inspire Me
While I’ll be the first to admit that I grew up loving fashion and beauty, I definitely didn’t always want to be a blogger. I don’t know how I got so lucky to have this as my career, but I am grateful every day that this is my “job.”
While I find fashion inspiration everywhere, and I try to avoid looking at other bloggers too much (mainly because I don’t want to compare myself), there are four bloggers in particular that I love. Curious to know the bloggers who inspire me most? The four bloggers below are the ones I truly enjoy following.
Courtney Trop of Always Judging
Courtney of Always Judging represents the person I personally relate to most style wise. She always looks effortlessly put together, but doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. I love that she just does what she wants, when she wants. The looks she puts together are the perfect mix of feminine and masculine, and she’s always honest and to the point, which is something I really admire. Oh, and her music choices are always amazing (she even has a playlist tab on her site).
Jacey Duprie of Damsel in Dior
Damsel in Dior has always been a blogger I felt like I would most likely be friends with in real life. How weird am I lol?! Jacey’s photos are gorgeous, and her style is refreshing and super laid back cool. But what I love most about Jacey is that she is one of the only “bloggers” I know who regularly writes blog posts (which are insightful and full of personality, too). She’s also been candid in the past about the loss of her beloved dog, decision to have a baby (she’s currently pregnant and I cannot wait to follow along her journey!), and other candid, raw, real-life moments. She also regularly comments and connects with her followers, which I find really rare these days.
Marianna Hewitt of Life with Me
Life with Me is a reliable go-to for beauty tips, tricks, and honest opinions – it’s no wonder Marianna was named Influencer of the Year at the 2017 WWD Beauty Inc Awards and was a nominee for Revolve’s Best Beauty Influencer of 2017. With a primary focus on beauty, Marianna tackles everything from hair conundrums to ways to whiten teeth at home. And in the process, she always manages to stay clear, consistent, and on-brand. Most recently, she launched Summer Fridays, a face mask designed to give skin a gorgeous glow with the help of good-for-you ingredients. I’ve tried the mask myself and I can honestly say that it lives up to the hype.
Arielle Charnas of Something Navy
I’ve been a loyal follower of Arielle’s for years now, and it’s been amazing watching her following – and her family – grow. While Arielle does always look cute and manages to look super-chic, even when she’s intsta-storying a workout video with Brandon, her hilarious husband, or taking street style shots while pushing her two daughters in a stroller, I love even more how candid, personal, and honest she is with her followers. I feel it gives her a level of authenticity that so many bloggers out there lack. Arielle also recently launched a collection with Nordstrom and it literally broke the site, really proving how loyal her followers really are.
