Under $200 Holiday Gift Guide
The holidays are officially upon us, and there’s nothing I love more than getting into the spirit of the season. And while I definitely have some gifts on my personal wishlist (don’t worry: it’s coming your way, Matt – wink, wink), one of my favorite things about the holiday season is picking out gifts for friends and family.
The gifts below are things I am definitely going to be swooping up for my loved ones. They’re perfect for everyone on your list and under $200, too!
If you know me, you know I appreciate a good blowout. But since blowouts on the reg are not in my weekly budget, I am always down with a giftcard to DryBar. I buy these for friends constantly and they always tell me what a great gift they are. They’re something everyone can (and will!) use at some point, and what’s better than that?
Shay Mitchell’s new line of travel gear is surprisingly affordable and not-so-surprisingly chic. With everything from luggage tags to backpacks to makeup cases (ranging from $12-$83), it’s easy to build the perfect little travel collection for your globetrotting friends (or yourself). Bonus: pieces feature travel compartments that’ll help keep you organized on the fly.
Last Christmas I discovered APL sneakers when Shopbop gave me a holiday present and I became obsessed. Performance enhancing and stylish, these sneakers are perfect for working out and wearing out. They come in a ton of gorgeous colors and also have a really innovative, forward-thinking design. I’ve been wearing these everywhere and plan to get them for a few of my favorites this holiday season.
This Rag&Bone beanie is the perfect winter accessory. Get it for your sister, mom, mother-in-law, you name it. It comes in three different versatile colors and has the softest ribbed finish. It’s perfect for fall, winter, and beyond.
This hair oil is incredible! Infused with honey from Negin Mirsalehi’s family bee garden, it contains fortifying vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It repairs even the driest hair and leaves it shiny, soft, and easy to style. The luxurious price point makes it the perfect gift for the beauty-loving babes on your gift list.
I absolutely love finding new perfumes. Le Labo scents are some of the best in the game, and they’re super-customized. The price point is a little high, which is why I think they make the perfect gift for an extra special person on your list (ie: a ton of people wouldn’t just go out and buy one of these bottles for themselves).
Rose Quartz or Jade Roller
Face rollers are all the rage right now. Whether you need to soothe your skin or promote circulation, rollers release tension, help with puffiness and under eye bags, and keep skin looking gorgeous and glowing. I love this Rose Quartz roller and this Jade Roller.
Coffee Table Book
When it comes to gifting, I always find myself reaching for books. There’s something so personal about gifting someone a book about something you know interests them – it just seems to thoughtful. I also feel like decorative books are things that people don’t just go out and buy for themselves.
Smythson’s Busy Bee Panama Notebook is not only chic, but it’s also incredibly functional. It is great for jotting down little ideas and keeping track of important notes during meetings. The super-soft saffiano leather and stylish gold finish are the icing on the cake.
I’m obsessed with these silk pajamas by Lunya – they’re so soft and comfy. To me, they’re the perfect luxury gift for a loved one or close friend because they’re something that the average person wouldn’t just go out and buy for themselves.
Parachute Home’s Fouta Stripe Bathrobe is inspired by Mediterranean ease and comfort. I love the cozy modern look and durable cotton finish. The soft terry inside feels so soft against your skin and it’s made from 100% long-staple Turkish cotton. Oh, and did I mention how chic it’ll look hanging in a bathroom?
