Isn’t this the million-dollar question in a world of ever-changing trends, styles and tastes that switches so often as we’re influenced by what and who we see online?! While this may sound like a negative if you are unprepared, it can actually be totally fine if you know how to manage it. Keep reading for how I maintain healthy hair and restore damaged hair.
How To Have Healthy Hair And Restore Damaged
As you know, I am constantly going to events and shooting content for the blog, which means I constantly need to be put together (hair included). I used to never style my hair this often before having a blog but now I always need to have it done. And I actually love how it looks when I do, so I want to keep doing it. Prior to the Intense Rescue Shots (read about them below), I tried to limit using any sort of hot tools to 1-2 times a week. Luckily, now I don’t have to! This treatment really helps restore damage that would otherwise be caused. In the in-between days of events and styling with hot tools, I stick to using products like volumizing / texture spray or dry shampoo that keeps my hair looking fresh.
This one is honestly the easiest part for me because I like a super natural look and to pretty much keep my natural color, so I only color my hair 1x a year, but I know this affects a lot of people. Even when I color my hair that 1x a year, I notice my hair is on the drier side right after than what it usually is.
Use At-Home Rescue Treatment
Last year after I got a really bad color job, my hair felt so damaged. Not only did it look bad and overly blonde (I never wanted to be super blonde), it also felt overly processed and dull. I needed a solution and didn’t know what to do besides go to a salon to get a treatment that cost way too much money and didn’t have such crazy results. Recently, I got to partner with Pantene and try their new Intense Rescue Shots imported from Brazil that launches in U.S. in January. This is an at-home hair rescue treatment that repairs extreme damage to hair.
How To Use Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots
The best part about this treatment is that it is simple, and it works. You first wash your hair as you normally would with shampoo. I love the Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo. Then, you start the rescue treatment. You apply the single dose tube from root to tip on damp hair. The great thing about this product is that it was formulated to avoid overdosing so there is no need to hold back. After you apply the product all over, leave it in for 30 seconds and then rinse for 30 seconds (don’t over rinse). Anddd you’re done!
- The single dose tube contains a deeply absorbing blend of Pro-Vitamin B5, strengthening lipids and natural glycerin that targets the damaged areas to give hair the flexibility and resilience it needs to endure styling and environmental stresses
- Delivers salon-like hair between professional treatments
- Unlike other hair masks, the Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots deeply hydrate without weighing down or leaving a film on your hair (I hate when masks do that to my hair!)
- Noticeably repairs damage
The Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots are available for purchase at CVS.com. Learn more here!
