I Entered A World Of Under Eye Bags
As most of you know by now, I got a dog. Although cute, sweet, cuddly and a teddy-bear look-a-like, he is exhausting. He doesn’t always sleep through the night yet, he requires a lot of attention, he wakes up early and, as a result, has left me tired. While I can deal with being tired, I cannot deal with the under eye bags this lack of sleep has left me with. Chances are if you are reading this blog post, you deal with under eye bags as well, so you know how devastating this is.
Anyway, I went to Instagram with my problem (as I do often these days) and I asked YOU what to do about my new problem. I asked what to do to solve this issue and I got some great recommendations (a few repeated recommendations even). A few of you messaged me to share the suggestions with you because you were struggling too so I figured I’d put it all in one place, which is why we’re here now.

A few people recommended this trick to me, which to me, tells me it must really work. When I read further into this, ice rollers can help with so much more than just under eye bags (although, if it worked well on that alone it would be worth it). Did you know that ice rollers are great for after waxing, breakouts, muscle soreness, and even can help migraines? I suffer from severe migraines so if this works I will be SO happy. I bought mine for $9 on Amazon. It just arrived today and I LOVE how it feels.
I hear such amazing things about this “Bye Bye Under Eyes” cream. I am *impatiently* waiting for it to arrive in the mail from Sephora right now. My friend started using this cream recently and SWEARS by it. She said someone asked her if she got filler in her eyes and doesn’t even have to use concealer anymore. I mean… this sounds like magic cream to me. This has a bit of a higher price point than the Ice Roller at $48 but if it works as well as it sounds like it does than I am all in!
Kiehls has always been a go to brand for me and I think lots of people. While I haven’t personally tried their Avocado Eye Cream which was recommended to me, I have no doubt that it works well. Kiehls is known for being super hydrating so I am confident that it works! I will keep you posted when I try it. The price of this cream is $29.
I have actually heard this trick from make up artists over the years and then it was recommended again from someone on Instagram. You are supposed to put two metal spoons in the fridge or freezer and apply them to your eyes in the morning.
Dr. Dennis Gross
If you’ve read other beauty articles of mine then you have definitely heard me talk about Dr. Dennis Gross. I am a HUGE fan of his products. I haven’t personally tried his C+ Collagen + Firm Eye Cream but I am going to order it ASAP. Anything Dr. Dennis Gross formulates and says will work I believe because his peel pads made such a difference for my skin before my wedding!
