Eyebrows are one of the most important features on someone in my opinion. Eyebrows frame your face, they give you personality, and they really do say a lot about you. Eyebrows are a very personal thing, though. Everyone has a different shape and everyone likes their’s differently. I personally have gone through many stages of brows, but I think I have landed where I am happiest, which is the natural brow.
What I Like In An Eyebrow
My eyebrows are one of my most commonly asked questions in my Instagram photo’s, so I thought what better way to address them than in a blog post here? So, here we go. I love a Cara Delevingne brow. I love how they say so much. They are the perfect mix between messy and tamed. Sounds deep, right? I told you eyebrows are important and say a lot haha.
How To Achieve This Look In 5 Easy Steps
Keeping in mind that not everyone has thick eyebrows naturally, I am going to share 5 steps that will help you achieve this look.
Step 1: Buy An Eyebrow Brush
You can get these for super cheap at any drug store and start brushing the areas you want to grow everyday, multiple times a day. A few years ago, I went to get my eyebrows done by someone new who ruined my eyebrows. Someone recommended I do this, and I swear they grew back so much faster. Here’s one for $5 on Amazon.
Step 2: Castor Oil
This was another trick that someone told me when I was in my eyebrow crisis. The girl took out way too much hair and castor oil surprisingly helps aid hair growth on small areas like your brows. It is a bit pricier than the brush, for $15, but it compliments the brush well! Using each on their own will be helpful too.
Step 3: Tweeze, Don’t Wax
I stopped waxing my eyebrows earlier this year because of a medication I was on, but have continued this since. This isn’t for everyone because most people like and look for that perfect straight line, but I actually love the undone look. I also think that it makes the grow out period of your eyebrows less obvious so you can get away with doing them less often. #moneysavingtips
Step 4: Use Eyebrow Mascara
I personally love the Benefit brow product, but am starting to test Glossier’s boy brow since I hear such good things. Let me know in the comments below if you’d like me to do a review comparing the two products!
Step 5: Have Eyebrow Shadow or Pencil
