Flattering Denim Brands
If it’s not obvious enough through photo’s on my Instagram or from the amount of times I’ve mentioned that I love denim, denim is part of my (pretty much) everyday. Back in March I wrote a post on my top 5 best fitting denim brands at the moment, and now I’m back to give you an updated list. These 5 brands are brands that I truly am a fan of and think the fit is super flattering.
Trave is actually a brand that is newer to me. I had a pair of denim sent to me from their PR company and after that I was sold. The fit is super flattering and I like that they don’t lose their form when you wear them. Fit advice: they do fit true to size technically and they fit well, but if you want them to be a tiny bit more comfortable, I would suggest sizing up one size because the waist band doesn’t have much stretch in it.
You’ve heard me mention Paige denim many times and I swear by them. Matt and I both brought them on our most recent trip to Europe and we were not disappointed. They fit true to size, their material is incredibly comfortable, and they’re the type of jeans you always get recognized in. Fit advice: true to size
L’Agence definitely has expensive styles but trust me when I say they are worth the investment. They are one of those brands that I swear looks good on everyone. If you have a runway model hanger type body you look incredible, and you also look just as incredible if you have curves. I have never seen one person who doesn’t look good in them. Fit advice: true to size
AG Golde Denim
AG Golde is another newer brand to me that I am still learning. I love the amount of different styles they have in denim. Fit advice: buy your true size and one size up. I’ve heard the sizing isn’t consistent on all pairs.
Ksubi is truly my obsession right now. They are having a major comeback this year and I am into it! I love their styles, the fit, the details…everything! I swear I haven’t taken this pair off since I got them (they’re selling out of sizes quickly!). Fit advice: size up one size. They are a little big that way, but not in an obvious way, and I don’t think I could wear my true size in these.
